1992 - Travels and Wayfaring Guy had a soul of a nomad. Journeys and trips in his backpack. Mountain climbing was a lot more than a hobby to him, and he knew rocks of different kinds, and experienced thousands of adventures in his encounters with nature. As a young man he participated in the “Nature Preservation Society” trips. He left no Israeli stone unturned in these trips with his family and friends. He was especially attached to Judea desert, which was familiar to him as an old friend. Ain Fara, Nahal Tmarim, the Arbel, Gita, Shilat, the Carmel, Beit Arye, Jerusalem Mountains, bolders in Mitzpe Ramon…were just a few of the locations more or less known he reached on Saturday mornings, equipped with a backpack, climbing shoes, a rope, a million rings and some good friends (most important). After completing the army service, it was time to realize dreams. Free from the responsibilities of conventional frameworks, Guy embarked on extended trips to explore the world. During these challenging years of wandering and scouting, he visited distant continents and their people looking for places that remained untouched by Western influences. He’s been to the Far East, Australia, Papua New Guinea, North and South America, Alaska, Europe, Egypt and Jordan. He collected true tales and made his life as exciting as he wished. Pictures, documents Return to Homepage 1992 - מסעות ונדודים גיא, נווד בנשמתו, טיולים ומסעות בתרמילו. טיפוס הרים היה עבור גיא יותר מתחביב והוא ידע סלעים מסוגים שונים וחווה אלפי חוויות במפגשיו עם הטבע. כנער השתתף בטיולי "החברה להגנת הטבע", וחרש וידע עם משפחתו וחברים כל נחל וצוק בארץ. במיוחד אהב הוא את מדבר יהודה, שסודותיו היו גלויים לו כמו לחבר. עין פארא, נחל תמרים, הארבל, גיתה, שילת, הכרמל, בית אריה, הרי ירושלים, בולדרינג במצפה רמון...היו חלק מאותם אתרים כמוסים וגלויים אליהם הגיע בשבתות, מצויד בתרמיל, בנעליים, חבל ומיליון טבעות, וכמה חברים טובים (שזה הכי חשוב). לאחר השירות הצבאי הגיע הזמן למימוש החלומות. חופשי מכל מסגרות הוא יצא לגלות יבשות, הרים וחברים נוספים, ובעקר לתור מקומות שעדיין לא "נוגעו" בתרבות המערבית. הוא טייל במזרח הרחוק, פפואה ניו-גינאה, אוסטרליה, באמריקה לאורכה ולרוחבה, באירופה, במצרים ובירדן, ואסף סיפורי מסע וחוויות חיים כפי שייחל לחייו שלו. פירוט, תמונות ומסמכים חזרה לתפריט הראשי
