In his last year, Guy was only 33 years old: honest, self confident, wise and truthful in his heart.
Next to him a giant group of people, parents, sister, friends, beloved ones. Guy touched them all with a big big hug reserved for beautiful people like him. In his last journey with Tomer to the Dolomites, at the end of the summer, to a magical corner in north Italy, in the spectacle Gardena valley, on top of the peak Grope he was planning his next trail: a trip with Revital to the Valpolicela valley next to Verona, over a romantic dinner with superb bottle of wine and some fine food: a private feast celebrating professional and personal achievements… The seven healthy years…and a splendid future were abruptly cut one day before the Romantic trip was due… Guy passed away on 5.9.02, one day before New Year’s eve, when he terminated a climbing trail in the Dolomites, and was buried at the cemetery of Kochav-Yair in 11/9/03. 2002 - המסע לא הושלם ...בשנתו האחרונה, גיא, בן 33 שנים בלבד, ישר, גאה, נבון ואמת בלבבו.לצדו משפחה ענקית של הורים, אחות, חברים, אהבות ומכרים יקרים. בכולם נגע גיא בחיבוק ענקי ששמור לאנשים יפים שכמותו. במסעו לדולומיטים עם תומר בסוף הקיץ, לפינה קסומה בצפון איטליה, בעמק גרדנה המרהיב, על פסגת הסלע גרופ, תכנן הוא את המשך המסלול: טיול עם רויטל בשבוע הקרוב לעמק וולפוליצלה שליד ורונה, על ארוחה לאור נרות ויין משובח. חגיגה פרטית של מימוש מקצועי ואישי... שבע השנים הטובות ... ועתיד מרתק, נקטעו יום לפני הטיול הרומנטי..... גיא נהרג בכח באלול התשס"ב (5.9.02 ), יום לפני ערב ראש השנה, בסיומו של הטיפוס בהרי הדולומיטים , והובא למנוחת עולמים בבית העלמין בכוכב-יאיר ב-11.9.02 ובבטן האדמה שלי נטמן זיכרון שנשכח רגבים יאמרו את שמך בלחש געגוע יצמח (הקדשה לגיא בתוך הספר קולות האדמה) תמונות ומסמכים חזרה לתפריט הראשי |
